Could you please tell me which modem you would recommend?
I have tried USRobotics 56 external and that thing even after updating the drivers wouldn't reset. Same thing happened with Gtw V.92 Voicemodem.

| Was the external modem you were using serial or USB? My best recommendation would be the external US Robotics Sportser 33.6 Serial modem. |

It was a External / serial.

And what settings would you choose for that specific modem?

| Well, the connection settings are more carrier based... not actually modem based. For the carriers, unless they specify otherwards, you'll want to use 1200 baud, even parity, 7 data bits, and 1 stop bit. |

I am trying to use this work with Orion Solarwind. Is that recommended or are we doing it wrong?

| NotePager Pro and PageGate can integrate with Orion, so you aren't doing anything wrong. |
