Scheduler randomly shutting down

PageGate v4.0 - appears to randomly shut down the scheduler and server services.
Last night at 00:00:01 the scheduler log shows 2 entries as follows:
- Initiating clearnup routines
- Module stopped.
There are no other log entries to indicate a problem.
After looking at the logs I used the applet to stop and restart the server. This all worked correctly and processed the 150+ pages that had been entered via GetAsci since midnight.
(Note - the Pagegate server service showed running in services however was not running (in red) in the PageGate monitor.

My best recommendation would be to upgrade to version 5. This sounds very much like a problem we used to have in version 4 but was since taken care of in the other patches and fixes we've done in the new version.
