Help with sending a thru FAX

I am completely new at this and I really need some assistance. Thanks in advance!

I am trying to setup the PageGate to
- Receive an incoming txt message
- Send message to a fax

From what i have read I need to use the "GetTap" to receive (I am still not sure of the configuration though) and then create a carrier to send out and a receiver that specifies where that carrier will go to.

Does that sound right?

PageGate is capable of receiving messages via one or more of several methods through the use of optional modules: gatTAP, getMAIL, getASCII, getSERIAL, getSNPP, GUI Client, and getWEB. Once PageGate receives the message - it can then resend it to recipients or groups of recipients via any protocol

Thanks for the reply...like i mentioned I am trying to send out an incoming transmission thru a modem to a fax, and I know I need two modems (one for incoming, one for sending) - but can they use the same phone line?

You can do it with 1 modem and line - once the package receives the TAP message, it will break the connection, then access dial tone and send the message

NOTE: To send a fax - the modem MUST be "Fax Capable" - not all modems are fax capable
