unable to enter text delivery mode

Dear all
I have a sony ericsson k750i handset, and I have connected it to computer by usb port (com7). I want to connect to carrier by GSMAT protocol through this cell phone.
After sending message, appears this message: “Unable to enter text delivery mode” the dialer log file is below:

When I enter “AT +CMGF=1” manually (in hyper terminal) there is error 303, but for another command (for example) “AT +CMGF=0”, the result is OK. This log is this:

+CMS ERROR: 303
AT+CMGF=0
OK

Can you please help me about this error?

I believe that the Sony device is telling you that it will NOT support text entry mode via USB cable
