Integration with Zenoss Resource Manager
PageGate integrates with Zenoss Resource Manager using the GetAscii module to receive command line notifications. Use Zenoss WinCommand notification actions to pass alerts to PageGate.
Step 1 — Configure the GetAscii Module
- Create the integration directory (recommended:
c:\PageGateData\Zenoss\). - Open PG Admin. Go to Interfaces — GetAscii — Settings. Set Polling Directory to the folder.
- Check Enabled. Click Apply. Enable for all groups and recipients when prompted.
Step 2 — Configure Zenoss Resource Manager to Run GetAscii Command
Use this command format in Zenoss Resource Manager's action trigger:
c:\PageGateData\Zenoss\sendpage32.exe <recipient or group> <sender> <message>
Example: c:\PageGateData\Zenoss\sendpage32.exe itadmins Zenoss "This is a test"
