Integration with Zapier
PageGate integrates with Zapier using the GetMail interface. Zapier sends an email when a trigger condition is met; GetMail receives that email and converts it to an SMS, page, or web API update.
Configure the GetMail Interface
- Right click PG Admin and select Run as Administrator.
- Go to Interfaces — GetMail — Settings. Check Enabled.
- In the Local Domain field, enter the domain or IP address PageGate should accept mail for.Use the internal IP of the PageGate server (e.g.
192.168.1.175) or create a sub-domain/domain with its A and MX records pointed to the PageGate server. Address emails to:<recipient>@<yourdomain>
Example:IT_Alerts@192.168.1.175orpriority1@pg.something.com - Click Apply. Enable for all recipients when prompted.
- Go to Program — Settings. Check GetMail in Run on this Server. Click Apply.
Once PageGate is ready, configure Zapier to email alerts to the appropriate recipient address on your PageGate domain to trigger SMS delivery.
