Please note that the WG Admin program is automatically installed when the WebGate Server is installed. You only need to follow these instructions if you are installing WG Admin on an additional workstation.
1. Run the executable file that you downloaded (wgv3.exe).
2. The setup program will present you with options for which part of WebGate you want to install. To install WG Admin you should choose the third option.
3. The following screen will display WebGate's End User License Agreement. Please read it carefully and proceed with the installation of WebGate ONLY if you agree with ALL the terms of this agreement.
4. On the next screen you can specify a location where you want WG Admin installed. The default install location is C:\Program Files\WebGate\. You can change the installation path by hitting the 'Browse' button. To accept the install location, hit 'OK'.
5. You will now be prompted for the name of the group that the WG Admin icons should be added to in the Windows Start Menu. The default group is 'WebGate'.
6. The setup program is now ready to install WG Admin. Click on the 'Next' button to start the installation process.
7. The setup program will now copy the WG Admin program and support files to your computer. If you encounter any problems during this part of the installation, please refer to the 'Installation Troubleshooting' section of the manual.
8. The next screen will tell you that WG Admin has been successfully installed. Hit the 'Finish' button to exit WebGate's setup program.
9. In some cases, your computer will ask to be restarted after the installation of WG Admin. If you are prompted to do so, you must restart your computer before running WG Admin.
