WebGate has built into it a feature than can be very useful in an on-call service environment. A schedule of recipients can be setup defining when a recipient is on-call (starting day and time, and ending day and time). These recipients are then added to a group that has been defined as an on-call group. When a message is sent to the group, the schedule is consulted to see which recipient or recipients the message should be sent to. This way, only the recipients that are scheduled to be on-call receive the page.
