When sending text messages to pagers and cell phones, the terminal phone number is required. We have listed the most commonly used numbers along with their settings. Please let us know of any additional modem numbers you would like added to the database.
Messages are sent via software to the paging terminal using a modem. The software communicates with the telecom terminal in a fashion that the paging terminal understands; the terminal then broadcasts the message to the appropriate mobile device. You will need the phone number of the paging terminal or telecom carrier (see the directory above) and the ID number of the pager or cell phone you wish to send the message to.
