Integration with Splunk
PageGate integrates with Splunk Lite, Splunk, and Splunk Enterprise using the GetAscii module and Splunk's "Run a script" trigger action.
Step 1 — Configure the GetAscii Module
- Create integration directory:
c:PageGateDataSplunk - Open PG Admin. Go to Interfaces — GetAscii — Settings. Set Polling Directory to the folder. Check Enabled, click Apply.
Step 2 — Create a Batch File for Splunk
Create a .bat file accessible to the Splunk server with this content:
c:PageGateDataSplunksendpage32.exe <recipient> <sender> <message>
Example: c:PageGateDataSplunksendpage32.exe itdept Splunk "This is a test"
