Integration with SL4NT
PageGate integrates with SL4NT using the GetAscii module. Configure a "run program" action in SL4NT to pass alerts to PageGate for delivery.
Configure the GetAscii Module
- Create the integration directory (recommended:
c:\PageGateData\Ascii\).If using a UNC path, provide the PageGate GetAscii Windows service with appropriate credentials. - Open PG Admin. Go to Interfaces — GetAscii — Settings. Set Polling Directory. Check Enabled. Click Apply. Enable for all.
- In SL4NT, configure the "execute/run program" action with:c:\PageGateData\Ascii\sendpage32.exe <recipient> <sender> <message>
Example: c:\PageGateData\Ascii\sendpage32.exe ITDept SysLog "Server is down"
