In PageGate, 'recipient' is synonymous with 'pager'. A recipient is the person who carriers the actual pager or wireless messaging device. When PageGate refers to a 'recipient' it is really referring to the recipient's pager or wireless messaging device. This approach simplifies things for the end users. For example if a recipient were to replace their pager with a new unit, the recipient name will stay consistent, even though the pager's information would change. Note: in some previous versions of PageGate the term 'user' was used instead of 'recipient'.
