1. If you installed from CD-Rom, remove the CD and keep it in a safe place. You will need it again if you ever need to reinstall PageGate, or want to install either the PageGate Monitor program, or the PageGate GUI Client on a workstation.
2. If you installed PG Monitor from a single downloaded file (pgv4.exe or pgv4.zip), be sure to make a copy of the file and store it in a safe place. You will need it again if you ever need to reinstall PageGate, or want to install the PageGate Administration program, the PageGate Monitor program, or the PageGate GUI Client on a workstation.
3. TCP/IP must be installed and operational on both the PageGate server computer and the workstation running PG Monitor. The Windows ping utility should be used to verify connectivity.
