Unlock the ability to receive email into PageGate and redistribute to wireless devices
The PageGate Email API unlocks the ability to receive email into PageGate. The PageGate Email Interface includes a fully functional mail server and may be used by itself or in conjunction with other mail servers.
With the Email API, clients can receive SMTP/Email messages in and redistribute the messages out to the different devices, or groups of mobile phones and wireless devices using a different format or protocol.
The Email Interface can receive email (SMTP) messages using sub-domain hosting or a POP mailbox.
The Email API can also be used for integrating PageGate into existing applications. With the ubiquity of email, more and more modern applications have the ability to send email. If an existing application has the capacity to send email, it can easily be integrated into PageGate. The Email API is most frequently used for integration with applications running on different platforms (Unix, Mac, etc...).
Regularly poll an existing email address for messages to forward.
Send a single email to a larger distribution list of recipients.
Includes a fully functional mail server, that can be used alone or in conjunction with an existing mail server.
Anyone or anything that can send an email can send text or a group text message.
Any application that has the capacity to send email, regardless of platform/OS, can be integrated into PageGate using the Email API.
Satellite offices can send in email or use NotePager Pro to submit messages for processing with a centralized, master server.
Ad-hoc recipient support allows the phone number to be passed to PageGate along with the message.
Easily track all messages sent with robust logging and reporting.
