Integration with Paessler PRTG Network Monitor
PageGate integrates with Paessler PRTG using the GetAscii module. Configure an "Execute Program" notification in PRTG to pass alerts to PageGate for SMS delivery.
You will need to create an integration directory. If PageGate is on the PRTG server, use
c:PageGateDataAscii. If on a different server, share the directory so both systems have access.Step 1 — Configure the GetAscii Module
- Open the PageGate Admin.
- Go to Interfaces — GetAscii — Settings.
- Set the Polling Directory to your integration directory.If using a UNC path, provide the PageGate GetAscii Windows service with appropriate logon credentials to access the network share.
- Check Enabled. Click Apply. When prompted, enable for all existing groups and recipients.
Step 2 — Configure PRTG "Execute Remote Program" Action
Call PageGate's GetAscii module using this format:
<Integration Directory>sendpage32.exe <recipient or group> <sender> <message>
Example: c:PageGateDataAsciisendpage32.exe ITDept PRTG "Server $hostname is at $diskusage disk usage"
