Please note that the NPN Monitor program is automatically installed when the NotePager Net Server is installed. You only need to follow these instructions if you are installing NPN Monitor on an additional workstation.
1. Run the executable file that you downloaded (npnv3.exe).
2. The setup program will present you with options for which part of NotePager Net you want to install. To install NPN Monitor you should choose the fourth option.
3. The following screen will display NotePager Net's End User License Agreement. Please read it carefully and proceed with the installation of NotePager Net ONLY if you agree with ALL the terms of this agreement.
4. On the next screen you can specify a location where you want NPN Monitor installed. The default install location is C:\Program Files\NotePager Net\. You can change the installation path by hitting the 'Browse' button. To accept the install location, hit 'OK'.
5. You will now be prompted for the name of the group that the NPN Monitor icons should be added to in the Windows Start Menu. The default group is 'NotePager Net Monitor'.
6. The setup program is now ready to install NPN Monitor. Click on the 'Next' button to start the installation process.
7. The setup program will now copy the NPN Monitor program and support files to your computer. If you encounter any problems during this part of the installation, please refer to the 'Installation Troubleshooting' section of the manual.
8. The next screen will tell you that NPN Monitor has been successfully installed. Hit the 'Finish' button to exit NotePager Net's setup program.
9. In some cases, your computer will ask to be restarted after the installation of NPN Monitor. If you are prompted to do so, you must restart your computer before running NPN Monitor.
