Integrate with Existing Applications
Integration with Hill-Rom's Navicare
PageGate integrates with Navicare using the GetAscii module. Navicare can output data to a directory that PageGate monitors for SMS delivery.
Configure the GetAscii Module
- Create the integration directory (recommended:
c:\PageGateData\Ascii\). Configure Navicare to have file access to this directory. - Open PG Admin. Go to Interfaces — GetAscii — Settings. Set Polling Directory to the folder.If using a UNC path, provide the PageGate GetAscii Windows service with appropriate credentials.
- Check Enabled. Click Apply. Enable for all groups and recipients when prompted.
Manual Command Format
If you need to manually configure commands to send to PageGate:
<Integration Directory>\sendpage32.exe <recipient> <sender> <message>
Example: c:\PageGateData\Ascii\sendpage32.exe supervisors NaviCare "Unit 3 needs attention"
