In PageGate, 'recipient' is synonymous with 'pager' (or other wireless messaging device). A recipient is the person who carriers the actual pager. When PageGate refers to a 'recipient' it is really referring to the recipient's pager. This approach simplifies things for the end users. For example if a user were to replace their pager with a new unit, the user name will stay consistent, even though the pager's information would change.
