File Formats

PageGate uses a standardized Comma Separated Values (CSV) file format for exporting and importing. If you want to import information into PageGate, we would recommend creating some sample or dummy data and then performing an export.

Each export file contains the specific structure and format required to import, including version information and field names. PageGate also uses the .csv extension on its' exported data to make opening it in programs like Excel much easier. Field labels are contained on line 2 of the file.

To import information into PageGate, please follow the guideline shown in the export files.
