Ad-Hoc for GetSerial

If you have the ability to modify the output of the system feeding data in to PageGate's GetSerial API by RS232/serial line, you can call on an ad-hoc recipient by formatting the recipient declaration contained within the serial string as follows:

<adhoc recipient name>;<value>;<value>;<value>

For example, let's say that your ad-hoc recipient's name is 'ah' and that this the serial input string GetSerial needs to process:

CODE 17 START ah;7818290500;9829999871 Refrigeration Unit 003 Temperature High 84.31 N773 END A9.3178

Assuming that the record, recipient, sender and message sections have been configured appropriately, that would send a message to the two phone numbers specified.
