Enabling the Telnet Client in Windows Vista, 7 and 8/8.1

1) In Windows, open the Control Panel.

2) In the upper right hand portion of the Control Panel, set "View by" to Small Icons.

3) In the Control Panel, open Programs and Features.

4) On the left hand side, click on "Turn Windows Features on/off"

5) Put a check next to Telnet Client.

6) Click on OK.
