I am unable to connect to the database for pagegate. I have rebooted the system. This is a new installation of the software. PageGate 4.0

Since you mentioned that this is a new installation of PageGate, have you run the Admin program on the host system at least once? If not, that's why you can't connect to the database - it doesn't exist, yet. After you install PageGate, in order for PageGate to create the database to use, you must run the Admin program on the host system at least once.

The problem was that I came into troubleshoot someone else's install. After digging around in the settings i found that the path to the database was network drive letter. After i changed it to the correct local path it worked.
