Have one main email address that is monitoed for alerts coming from various client locations. The locations are distinguished and identified by the email Subject Line. Need to be sure messages from CLIENT1 are email forwarded to CLIENT1 but not CLIENT2, and so forth. How do I set up PG to handle distribute to correct client when all the alerts come into one common POP address?
Thanks!

The best, and possibly easiest, way to set up PageGate to do what you need would be to set up a recipient for POP Mail collection. Once you've done that, you'll want to set the recipient's type to 'MultiPage'. That will make the recipient collect the messages, but then look to the subject line for the actual recipients that the messages should go to. Be aware, though, that the recipients in the subject line must match the actual recipients in PageGate. For example, if you have Jeremy in the subject line, you must have a recipient named Jeremy in PageGate. Otherwise, the message won't go anywhere.

thanks. I have followed your instructions, and actually set up groups. This way it reads the subject line and forwards the mail onto the group and send to its members via mail and sms. Although with one of the groups, i only want an email notification sent, and not an sms alert. Can this be setup? Do all recipients need to be setup to 'MultiPage' or just the recipient for POP? thanks!

The only recipient that needs to be set to MultiPage is the one that you've set the POP for. With the group that you only want an email notification sent, do you want the entire message to be redirected to their mailbox or only a notification that a message was received sent to their mailbox?

Once you've set up your other recipients, the best way to get it to forward the entire email is to go under the Email section of the Recipients that should get the Email. In the Email section, just fill in their email address in the "Forward Copy To" section and click on Apply. When you do that, it'll send them a notification and forward them a copy of the email. Now, if that particular user is ONLY supposed to get the email notification, you'll probably want to go to that user's "Settings" section and switch their type to Email Only.
