PageGate Monitor "Run-time error 429"

When I try to launch PageGate Monitor at a remote system I get the error:

[b]"Run-time error '429'

You do not have an appropriate license to use this functionality"[/b]

but we do. Please assist, thanks!

While it is technically possible to run the Monitoring program remotely, I really don't recommend that you do it that way. You'll run into fewer errors and have a more reliable log if you go through the "Install Additional PG Monitor" routine on that particular workstation. If, however, you'd rather not go through the monitor install and would like to run it remotely, there are a few things I need to know.

Is the server you're attempting to run the monitor from a mapped drive? Does the system you're trying to run the monitor on have read/write access to that directory or read only access?

The best way to get to it is to run the main installation file for PageGate (which you can download from our website http://www.notepage.net ). When you run the pgv4.exe file, the third option down should be Install Aditional Monitor. Run that on the workstation and you should be set.
