Having problems sending a message to Fido Network. TAP Number on your website is actually in service of a private user. Having problems connecting to 1-888 number. Called Fido to inquire of number and they gave me +15149931123 which is always busy. All other carriers are working dandy except this one. Any Help?

You mentioned that you were having trouble connecting to the 888 number for the Fido Network. What sort of problems are you having? Are the problems intermittent or do they happen every time?

I have not been able to connect once. Every time i try to send a msg through the 1-888 number, it dials out, connects and then after a couple of seconds, the message counter on the bottom increases one in the BAD part.

If you would, try to connect to the carrier via the 888 number one more time. Now, chances are, it won't work but that's what I'm shooting for. Once it fails, email a copy of the .log file(s) from your NotePager directory to support@notepage.com

I'll review the logs and have a look at what's going on. There may be a specific reason it wont' connect.

its working alerady, i discovered what was the issue. With FIDO, you can block messages sent to you from the WEB as they call it. That is why when i tried to send this mesage to this one number, it wouldnt send and it would go to bad, but i tried to another number where that option has not been activated and it is working.......

I do have another question.....how do i make the dialing do a pause so that it can dial the *67 (caller id block). The reason for this is that if i send messages from my hosue line, people are going to call back there and I do not want that. If i just put *67 on the prefix, it didnt dial it when i tried. I put *67 before the number of the carrier and it dialed so fast that instead of dialing 1-888, it dialed the last 8 and the rest of the number, getting to someone elses number and not the FIDO mesage central

placing a comma ( , ) in the dial string inserts a 3 second pause
