i used smtp with verizon and it will not quit sending the message to my phone. it sends every 5 minutes. any suggestions?!?!

Are you sure it is sending every 5 minutes? I'd bet that your issue is a "stuck" message in Verizon's SMTP server. Verizon customer service can "pull" that message for you, although you'll probably have to escalate your call above the first level CSR

Try shutting down your NotePager Pro.

If the message continues, it is not a software problem.
