New download and get "engine not running"

When I do the connection wizard I get a "Error #7 OUt of memory in Procedure: main". What can I to fix this problem? This software was running great until recently. Have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I have no problems with the software running on other computers. Thanks

1.) Back up the database file (the file is named "npp.mdb" and is
found in "C:\Program Files\NotePager Pro" ).

BACKING UP THE DATABASE FILE IS VERY IMPORTANT!

2.) Uninstall NotePager Pro. (Un-installation will DELETE the DATABASE).
3.) Reboot the machine (IMPORTANT).
4.) Reinstall NotePager Pro.
5.) Copy the database file ("npp.mdb") back into (C:\Program Files\NotePager Pro).
6.) Start NotePager Pro.
