Page Gate seems to hang. We ran a test and while the pagegate service was running. The message just sat in pending message. We stopped the service and tried to restart and it hung at "starting" state. We had to reboot the box in order to get it started again. This has happened several times.

Spoke with customer.

The issue was with actually due to PageGate being unable to communicate with the SMTP Relay Server.

This was causing the messages to sit in "Pending".
