Message Length/Multiple pages

When I send a lenghthy page, it is cutting out after 66 characters. I have the max character length for my carrier and users at 240. Is there some setting I may have missed to enable PAGEGATE to break the message into multiple pages? Ken

I figured it out. I needed to limit the characters for the carrier setting, and increase the characters for the recipient. That broke the message into two pages...Thanks

Could be a couple of things. First - you mentioned that it cuts out after 66, are you only counting the characters in the text of the message or does that also include the sender info? I'm guessing if you recount and include the from and subject info, you'll find that the total is 80. Many paging carriers default limit transmissions of 80 character maximum packet (often, they will increase this as an optional pay for). If this is the case, change the carrier and recipient settings to a max of 80. When you send a message exceeding 80, the message will be split across 2 or more packets.
