Not having a service issue here, but thought I'd pose the question. I have been unable to get the PGGTTone addon to go beyond loading on startup. Of course, I can get it so open/appear, but I still have to click "Start" to get it running

Please post the command line or any startup/service instructions I need to make PGGTTone open-and then start.

How do you have "PGGTTone.exe" starting?

Is it running as a "Service" or do you have it in the Windows "Start Up" group?

I could put it in a registry RUN or add it to StartUp - but neither, to my knowledge, will do any more than open the window - it won't "start" it.

If there is a command line switch, post away. If adding it as a service "starts" it, then post how to do that please

1.) Stop the PGGTTone.exe .
2.) Edit "PGGTTone.ini" making the following changes.

RunStyle=Service
SwitchStyle=True

3.) Save the changes to "PGGTTone.ini"
4.) Start "PGGTTone.exe".

"PGGTTone.exe" will load itself into Windows Services and edit the "SwitchStyle=" entry, changing it back to "False".

5.) Open the Windows Services Console
6.) Change the "PageGate GetTouchTones" Service's startup type to "Automatic".
7.) Start the "PageGate GetTouchTones" Service.

From that point on, the service will start automatically, and monitor the designated COM port/modem, without needing any intervention.
