I'm thinking the answer is yes, but will PageGate work fine after a 2008R2 to 2012R2 inplace upgrade? I am running version 7.0.0.23.

It should, though in a few cases, I've seen the OS upgrade get rid of the services.
So, after the OS upgrade, check to see if the PageGate system services still exist. If they do, you should be able to start the program and use it without any hiccups.
If they don't, this is what you'll need to do:
1) Right click on the shortcut for PG Admin and select 'Run as Administrator'
2) Go to Program - Settings.
3) In the 'Run PageGate as' section, select: Windows Service
4) Click Apply
5) When prompted for credentials, leave them blank and click Apply again. |
