The easiest way would be to export the recipients and groups list, then search the exported text file for the phone number or name you're looking for. Here's how to do that:
1) Open the PageGate Admin.
2) Go to Database - Tools - Export - Recipients and Groups.
3) Save the file somewhere convenient.
4) Open the file in Notepad or whatever your preferred text editor is.
5) Search the file for the phone number or name you're looking for and it should take you to the corresponding line in the exported file. |

To disable a user but keep the entry in the list, you'll want to do this:
1) Open the PG Admin.
2) Go to Recipients - <RecipientName> - Settings.
3) Uncheck everything in "Enabled Services"
4) Click on Apply.
That will leave the entry in the PG Admin but the recipient will not available to be messaged by any interface. |

Hm... that may mean you're using an alternate recipient configuration called an ad-hoc setup. To give me a better idea of how you have the program implemented, if you would, please email a copy of your PageGate database (c:\PageGateData\Database\pagegate.mdb by default but it's the file pagegate.mdb contained in your Database directory, which you can discover by going to the Program - Settings section of the Admin) to support at notepage dot com |

Unfortunately, we haven't received anything, yet. We did double check the spam filter just to be sure. It's possible your mail server filtered the message? |

If you go in to your recipients list, do you have an ad-hoc recipient configured? If so, that would explain why your logs would reference a phone number that doesn't exist in the recipients list. The ad-hoc recipient is a pass-through recipient that allows you to send a message to any number entered or passed by the sending module. |

By the way you've worded it, I assume you want to block messages sent in to PageGate by email by the address in question. Is that accurate? |
