From the PageGate "Did you know...?" Section, I see there is a way to do on-the-fly carrier lookups using Data24-7. I can't find any documentation on how to set this up. Can someone point me to the documentation to set this up?

Thanks

The steps you want can be found here: http://notepage.net/data24-7/integrating-data24-7-pagegate.htm

and the steps are:

1) Open the PG Admin.

3) Name the carrier: data247

Note: The name for this carrier must be, precisely, data247

4) Set the following:

Protocol: HTTPGET
Host: api.data24-7.com/v/2.0
Port: 443

5) Click on Apply.

6) Click on the Template sub-section of the new data247 Carrier.

7) Paste the following in to the Text portion of the

Template: |user|| |pass|| |api|C| |p1|%RecipientId%| |addfields|sms_address|

8) Click on Apply.

9) Right click on Carriers, left click on Add.

10) Name the carrier: data247-smtp

11) Set the following: Protocol: SMTP Max chars: 160

12) Click on Apply.

13) Right click on Recipients, left click on Add.

14) Set the following:

Name: data247lookup
Type: AdHoc Carrier: data247

15) Click on Apply.

16) Right click on Recipients, left click on Add.

17) Set the following:

Name: InternetSMS
Type: AdHoc
Carrier: data247-smtp

18) Click on Apply.

19) Go to the Program - Template section of the PG Admin.

20) Change this: InternetDomain = yourdomain.com to this: InternetDomain = youremaildomainhere

21) Click on Apply.

If you need anything else, please let us know.

So once these steps are completed, do I just change the carrier in the recipients to data247-smtp?

Ah, no. The carrier named "data247" is the one that goes and polls the Data 24-7 service for the necessary recipient information and then that is fed in to the data24-smtp carrier for outbound delivery to the destination address. So, you'll want to configure your recipients to use 'data247' as their carrier.
