"(test message)" is added to beginning of all messages now. This was not happening in previous versions of NotePager Pro; how to I remove this.

Just to double check, is the text that's coming through "Text Message" or (test message) ?

The first thing you'll want to do is go in to the Advanced sub-section of the recipients in the program and uncheck "Extract Subject".

You can also modify the default subject by doing the following:

1) In Windows, run an instance of Notepad.

2) In Notepad, type whatever you want your default subject line to be. For example:
Alert
or
Message from %Sender%

3) Go to File - Save As.

4) Change "Files of Type" to All Files to prevent Notepad from putting a .txt extension on this file.

5) Change directory in to the NotePager Pro program directory.

6) Name the file: global.stp

7) Click on Save.

using the NotePager Pro app to send the test message and still get "(Text Message)" at the beginning on my phone

Apologies, I referenced the wrong location for the file. Instead of the Program directory, the global.stp needs to be placed in the program's Global Database directory. To find out what that directory is, open NotePager Pro and go to the Help - Folders menu. Place the global.stp file in that folder and it should apply the template.

Also, just to have it stated, most cell phone carriers' receiving systems will filter messages without subject as potential spam, so there does need to be some value in the subject line.
