doing a server upgrade to Win2012R2 and upgrading NPP to v5 at the same time.
Is there a way to export ALL NPP settings, incl. carriers and recipients to import them in NPP v5?
-copying the access MDB file to the new server\NotePage\NotePager Pro doesn't seem to work.
-Exporting carriers and recipients to TXT files returns a Version Mismatch message: "import file version mismatch"
please advise.

Here's what you'll want to do:
1) Open NotePager Pro version 5.
2) Go to Help - Folders.
3) Make a note of the Global Database folder.
4) Close NotePager Pro version 5.
5) Copy the npp.mdb file from NotePager Pro version 3 in to the NotePager Pro version 5 Global Database folder.
5a) If Windows asks, you do want to overwrite the existing file.
6) Run NotePager Pro version 5.
7) Enter your NotePager Pro version 5 registrationkey. |

Global DB path is indeed different in Win2012R2 than in Win2008, C:\ProgramData\NotePage\NotePager Pro\5.0

I followed the below instructions to move my V3 database to the new V5 and now when I try to run it I get the following error:
Fatal database error: 3343 Unrecognized database format 'C:\ProgramData\NotePage\NotePager Pro\5.0\npp.mdb'. in Procedure: open_database Program Halted
Any ideas?

| Hm... that 3343 error indicates that the nppv3 database has an issue that's preventing the conversion from running properly. If you would, please email a copy of that file to support at notepage dot com so we can repair whatever issues are present so it can be converted. |
