After switching to a new internet provider we started having problems with messages sent to Sprint. Some go some don't and most all of them take longer. I noticed today in the logs that messages are now trying to connect to our mail server but I don't see where they did that before the changes in our internet provider which meant also changing MX records and PTR records. Below is a log of a message sent before the internet change and one for a message sent after the change.

Thanks for posting the logs. Based on what we can see in them, it looks like the direct connection requests are failing, as noted in this section of the log:

Unlike the 9/20 connection, the system can't make a connection with spmail-sms-gw-nj.cloudmark.com, so it's failing over to your mail server mail.hrecc.org
If you would, to confirm the issue, please run this test:
1) In Windows, run a Command Prompt.
2) In the Command Prompt, type the following and hit enter:
telnet spmail-sms-gw-nj.cloudmark.com 25
Please let us know what the response is. |

Connection to host lost.
It looks like they don't trust or know our new IP. I will visit the website noted and see if I can get that changed.
