Please email a copy of the file you're trying to import to support at notepage dot com, please. |

Thank you for emailing the file over. Based on what I can see, you're missing a few fields from the file to import from. In your import file, you have:
"shortname","FullName","ID","Carrier","MaxChars",#TRUE#,#FALSE#,"999",#FALSE#,#FALSE#,"0"#FALSE#,#TRUE#,#FALSE#
but that's missing a few fields from the end. If you would, update the records in your file to import from to end like this:
"shortname","FullName","ID","Carrier","MaxChars",#TRUE#,#FALSE#,"999",#FALSE#,#FALSE#,"0"#FALSE#,#TRUE#,#FALSE#,#FALSE#,#FALSE#,"","" |

What error are you receiving?
Also, can you walk me through the process you're going through so I can try to duplicate the error? |

I go to file, import from a text file and then select the recipients file I sent you and then error importing file comes up after I hit apply.

"jointcommission","JOINT COMMISSION","","","1024",#FALSE#,#FALSE#,"999",#FALSE#,#FALSE#,"0"#FALSE#,#FALSE#,#TRUE#
Does this line need the quotes at the end as well??

That line appears to be a group record and won't import properly if you try to import it using the Recipients import.
To answer your question, though, the group records should be formatted as such:
"groupname","description","","","1024",#FALSE#,#FALSE#,"999",#FALSE#,#FALSE#,"0",#FALSE#,#FALSE#,#TRUE#,#FALSE#,#FALSE#,"",""
Also, upon reviewing the file you sent further, I noticed something else. You have some records that are referencing a carrier name of "WCTP USAMO" but spaces are disallowed characters in Carrier Names in NotePager Pro.
The Carrier designation in the import file must match the same, exact designation in NotePager Pro. So, for example, if the carrier is called WCTPUSAMO in NotePager Pro, that will be what the import file needs to reference as well.
I've reformatted the import file and emailed it to you. |
