AT&T Users are not recieving SMTP Messages

AT&T users are not receiving SMTP messages all of the sudden. Has anyone else had problems with this recently?

We've had several clients report this issue. AT&T has recently implemented MUCH tighter domain declaration restrictions and this typically happens when the software is improperly declaring the SMTP domain.

If you're using PageGate version 4, 5 or 6, here's what you'll want to do:

1) Open the PG Admin.

2) Go to Connectors - Global - SMTP.

3) Change the Local Domain field to reflect your email domain. This MUST match the part of your email address that's after the @.

4) Click on Apply.

If you're using PageGate version 7, here's what you'll want to do:

1) Open the PG Admin.

2) Go to Program - Template

3) Set the InternetDomain = variable to reflect your email domain. This MUST match the part of your email address that's after the @.

4) Click on Apply.

If you're using NotePager Pro, here's what you'll want to do:

1) Open NotePager Pro.

2) Go to Carriers - Edit.

3) Highlight your AT&T carrier, click on Edit.

4) Change the Local Domain field to reflect your email domain. This MUST match the part of your email address that's after the @.

5) Click on Apply.
