Due to the discontinued support for Windows XP, we are looking to eventually upgrade our workstations to Windows 7 or 8.1, and I am just testing all the applications we require on Windows 8.1
When I try to install PageGate (6.0.15, Run as Administrator) I get the error message:
pgsetup.exe - Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point InternetSetCookieExW could not be located in dynamic link library c:\Windows\System32\urlmon.dll
When I Click OK, the installer screen them appears ready for me to select Client GUI and/or Additional PG Admin
Select Install Option and the error reappears, Click OK and installation starts as per normal.
Anyone had issues installing on Windows 8.1? How did you resolve the issue?
Thanks in advance

That error indicates that the urlmon.dll file is missing from Windows. Thankfully, PageGate doesn't need, nor does the application actively reference, this DLL. The installer package does but only for certain draw elements within the process, so it won't actually affect the installation itself. This error can be completely ignored. |
