We have a Windows 2003 server that has NotePager Pro 3.0 on it. We are going to standup another server with Windows 2008R2 and want Notepager Pro on it but want to migrate all the existing configurations. Is that possible? If so, how?

Here's what you'll want to do to transfer NotePager Pro's settings from one system to others:

1) On the original system, go to c:\program files\notepager pro\

2) In the NotePager Pro program directory, you should see a file called npp.mdb - make a copy of this file on a flash drive or network location so you can transfer it to the new system.

3) Go to the new system.

4) Use these steps to install NotePager Pro on a UAC Enabled Operating System: http://www.notepage.net/notepager-pro-windows-7-64-bit.htm

5) After going through the steps to install and run NotePager Pro for the first time, close the program.

6) Copy the npp.mdb file you made in step 1 directly to the c:\notepager pro\ folder on the new system.

7) When it asks if you want to overwrite the file, say yes.

That should do it!
