hi guys, I am currently evaluating the pagegate intergration with solarwinds advanced alert manager,
when I test fire an alert I get the following in the pg monitor log file
the structure of the .asc file that solarwinds creates look like the following
jeremy_drossinis
OMXIT
test alert
in the pagegate server log I get
message rejected, Recipient: from: . Source C:\pagegate\bad\temp19705.122,
when I go the the above file, the file is blank.
I get the same result when I drop a normal text file in the monitoring directory of page gate
the server is running windows server 2008 r2 x64
thanks for your help in advance

What directory do you have set as the Polling Directory for the GetAscii module?
Also, do you have a recipient in PageGate named jeremy_drossinis ? |

pagegate is polling C:\pagegate\
there is a recipient called jeremy_drossinis
it looks like that it can not read the .asc file.
because when it moves the file to C:\pagegate\bad
the file is completely empty

That's a bit odd. Just to verify, do you have anything in the Interfaces - GetAscii - Advanced Polling - Files table? |

That's really odd. If you would, please email a copy of the file you're processing (or an example of it) to support at notepage dot com so we can take a look at it. Also, if you would, please email the logs from the c:\PageGateData\Logs\ folder. |
