|
|
Several times since I installed PageGate it's been noticed that the GetWeb interface stops at random times during the day or night. PG Monitor thinks it's still running, and so does Windows. The only way to get it to work again is to manually stop then restart the process (sometimes several times).
I'm running Windows Server 2003, and all PageGate services are running on the same server (TAP, Web, ASCII, Mail, Serial, etc.) The version of PageGate that I'm running is 4.0.0.96.
Does anyone have any ideas? It's becoming more and more inconvenient and noticable as I roll the system out to more users.

Are the Web Pages and CGI Data Paths set to the local system or a network path? |

If you would, please email all of the .log files (pagegate.log, pgsched.log, pggweb.log, etc) in the PageGate directory to support@notepage.com - There are a few things I'd like to reference to see if there's a clear indication of what's causing the GetWeb service to stop polling messages. |

|
|
Hi I am running the same version of NotePage and having the same issue.
What's the fix?
also, how do i change the PGSched start time? instead of 00:00 i would like to change it to 05:55 so at least if PGGWeb is stuck, the tech is awake to notice it and can restart it manually.
Appreciate your response.

My best recommendation would be to upgrade to version 6. There have been SEVERAL stability updates between what you're running now and the current version.
Also, the midnight cleanup routine is hard coded in the program. It isn't possible to change when that cleanup routine runs. |
