We updated on this past Monday - everything seems to be working fine, however, I noticed that all the carriers associated with any recipents number has changed.

I also tried to set up a new TAP carrier with one of our local paging companies, and when I go to change the carrier on the recipents profile, it asks for an e-mail address.

If you go in to the properties of the pagegate.exe and go under the Details or Version tab, what file version does it say you're using?

Ah, you're running in to a graphical bug that was in the initial release of PageGate version 6. You'll need to update the program to the most recent build, which is a fairly easy process:

1) Download the update here: http://www.notepage.net/download/pgsetup.exe

2) Run the installation file.

3) Select the "Install PageGate Server" option.

4) Install the update right overtop of the existing installation.

5) Reboot if it asks you to.

That should take care of the issue.

Will there need to be anything done to the clients, monitor or admin?

Nope, just the server.

I downloaded the update from the link you provided, and it still shows it as Version 6.0.0.0.

That's... certainly odd. When you run the PageGate Admin and go to the Program - Settings section, what does it say the Program Directory is? Also, when you ran the installation, where did you tell it to install to?

Does what need to be populated with what information? The Program Settings? It should absolutely show you where the program is installed as well as the location of the Database, Archive and Logs.

Okay, when you ran the installation earlier, did you specify C:\Program Files\PageGate\ on step 3 of the installation?

I'm running it again. It defaults to C:\PageGate

During the installation, be sure you change that to C:\Program Files\PageGate\

Also, reboot if it asks you to do so, then after the reboot, delete the c:\PageGate\ folder since you won't be using it.

I changed the destination file C:\Program Files\PageGate.

It asked for a reboot, which I did.

I removed the c:\pagegate\ folder.
