Hello All,

Okay here is my issue, we use page gate to send out messages from our CAD (ossi) for firefighters, ems, police and so forth. We have a new service called Active911 which takes in information that we send them from pagegate and processes it and spits it back out to members cell phones or iphone apps...the issue we are having is that we cant get enough of the information from our cad to send to them, the cad is unlimited as far as how much info crosses over to pagegate and gets sent out, here is the biggie...how can we keep the character limit of just regular messages being sent out to cell phones from pagegate to 240char, and up the amount that goes out to active911 which is a true email address...i hope i explained that correctly.

Set up a new carrier - select SMTP as the protocol - set THAT carrier's limit to the upper limit you want. Now set up a recipient for Active911 and point it at the new carrier. You can make that recipient a member of as many groups as you want
