Hello,
I had an employee who was having an issue with his NPP and tried to fix it without success. I logged the employee off and attempted to use NPP under my log in (administrator) and I received the following message;
"Fatal database error: 3204 Database already exists. in Procedure: CreateNewDatabase Program Halted"
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No. Each user signs in & out and when a user signs out, all programs end. I also did a computer shut down and re-start and still having the issue. Checked the Task Manager and there are no services or processes running, that I can see, that would deal with NPP.

It might be easier to de-install NPP - reboot the machine (cold shut down and startup), log in as the ADMINISTRATOR and re-install_________________ Aaron D. Osgood

I can do that, but will I loose my information? We have quite an extensive list stored in NPP and would take me weeks to re-do this.

You shouldn't lose any of your information but just in case the unexpected happens, you can make a backup of the npp.mdb in the program directory. That is the database for the program and contains all of your carriers, recipients, groups, etc. |
