That sounds like something set a file lock on the LDB file that spawns from the database. So, here's what you want to do:
1) Shut each and every component of PageGate down. Make sure no PG Clients are running, not the Admin, not the Monitor, not the Services.
2) Check the PageGate Database directory to see if a file called pagegate.ldb exists.
3) If it does, delete it.
3a) If it won't let you deleted it, go to the Administrative Tools in your Control Panel in Windows.
3b) Go in to Computer Management.
3c) On the left hand side, go to Shared Folders - Open Files.
3d) Terminate the session of anything that has pagegate.mdb or pagegate.ldb open.
3e) Try to delete the file again.
After the pagegate.ldb file, if it exists, has been deleted, try to run the PageGate Admin and it shouldn't give you an error. You can then restart the services. |
