We are currently running PageGate version 4.0.0.8. I recently installed version 5.0.0.95 on a new server (both will run simultaneously during testing). I have also entered our V5 registration key on the new server. It has now been decided that we want to attempt to migrate the V4 database to the new V5 server.
My question is, once I replace the current V5 database with the V4 database, will I be able to simply re-enter my V5 license key a second time. Will copying the database between these two versions cause any problems? I will of course backup the current V5 database before doing anything else. If something goes wrong can I simply copy this backup back into my PageGate V5 server?
Edit: The old version 4 PageGate is running on a Windows 2000 Professional workstation and the new Version 5 is running on Windows Server 2003.

Right, just copy the v4 database over the v5 database and run the v5 admin. It'll ask if you want to convert the database, say yes. After the database is converted, it will prompt you for your registration key. |

Wow, thank you for the lightning fast response! I was able to migrate the old database with no problems.
