Hi,
I seem to have a problem keeping the scheduler service Running.
Using PageGate 5.0.0.95 on Windows 2008 (x64).
Now i can't seem to start the scheduler service anymore.
Please help!

Now i'm able to get it starting a bit, it wil not go into running state but i do get this log message.
14-7-2011 14:43:30 PageGate Client License exceeded. GUI Client service has been disabled on excess recipients
We have a valid license. What's going wrong here?

Right, as OzCom mentioned, have a look at the registration section of the Admin. Is Client checked in the upper right hand corner? If not, you're not licensed for it and likely don't use it, so you can disable that module so you stop getting the error.
To disable the Client Interfaces, go into the PageGate Admin and go to the Interfaces - GUI Client - Settings. Uncheck Enabled and tell it yes, to disable the module for all existing groups and recipients. |

Hi,
No.. We have only the Ascii and Mail connectors.
We use the ascii interface for Solarwinds Orion and the mail interface for some other monitoring stuff.
If the scheduler service is not running pagegate does not seem to send any messages.
We are in the process of replacing our old SMS gateway for pagegate; but i'm reluctant to stop using the old gateway because PG seems to be too unstable for the job.

GUI Client was indeed checked.
When is was unchecked / not started i cound't start the scheduler service; but i'm quessing that was unrelated. :)
