I would like to integrate this product with EMC Smarts to dial out when the email system or the network is not available. I have a four port modem installed in the server with appropriate lines. Has anyone used the escalation process of Smarts to use this software to utilize the modems for sms text out?

While I have NOT used "EMC Smarts" with PageGate, I have intrgrated PageGate with MANY systems. As long as EMC Smart can generate an alert via Serial output, ASCII output, or even DTMF, PageGate can accept the message and send text alerts to ANY wireless device capable of receiving it - as well as email addreses, faxes, even a raw text file

EMC Smarts should be able to integrate with PageGate using one of the software's front-end Interfaces or add-ons. Information about how to integrate with PageGate is at http://www.notepage.net/how-to-integrate.htm

Dial out with a four port modem using PageGate with the software's Additional Connector modules.
