|
|
Once again my webgate module is to refreshing after making changes.
Tried renaming abcd folder, adding & deleting members to groups, starting & stopping module, starting & stopping Pagegate, starting & stopping Inetpub, etc.
As noted below, this has happened to me before, but lost track of what we finally figured for a solution ?
Thanks, Phil

Right but... what happened after you renamed the folder? Did it auto-create a new abcd folder that had the index.htm and default.htm files in it? |

Ah, progress! Okay, I'm thinking this is some level of permissions issue. If you rename or delete the folder and it doesn't recreate it, that's where the problem is coming from. That's indicative that GetWeb can't update the index.htm and default.htm in its normal routines. So, what do you have specified as the Web pages path and CGI Data path under the Interfaces - GetWeb - Settings section of the PG Admin? Also, are you running PageGate as an Application or a Windows Service and has anything recently changed with any of the security settings or permissions or user groups on this system or the domain? |

C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\
C:\Inetpub\Scripts\
http://pagepc:8080/abcd/exe
Running as a windows service
wwwroot folder is shared for everyone on permissions.
We did do a migration to SBS 2008 several months ago & had some severe problems with same. Everything seems to be working for the most that we know.
I tried resetting the permissions on wwwroot, deleted & added to a group & didn't see any change.
Next ?

Hmm... please email your contact information to support at notepage dot com, this might be easier to go over by phone than by forum. |
